Meet the Duo

Vinnie Hines

Vinnie’s musical journey began with busking in St. Louis and grew to include international performances and a Golden Ticket on American Idol XV. His Rock & Soul sound brings together soulful vocals, acoustic guitar and live looping.

Chrystalline Gold

Performing as Chrystalline Gold, Christin is a vocalist, DJ and Vinnie’s creative partner in Golden Hour. Her solo DJ work spans house and nu-disco, with performances across Tampa Bay and beyond.

Hear the Duo

Stand By Me

Written by Ben E. King, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, “Stand By Me” became a hit for King in 1961. Its appearance in the 1986 film of the same name introduced the recording to another generation.

Red Dirt Road

“Red Dirt Road” almost always brings Vinnie to tears, taking him back to high school and one particular railroad crossing where some of his best memories were made. In 2026, he and Christin added another memory: singing along from the nosebleeds at their first Brooks & Dunn concert together.

Tennessee Whiskey

“Tennessee Whiskey” dates back to 1981, when David Allan Coe released the original recording of the Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove song. George Jones recorded his version in 1983, followed by Chris Stapleton’s interpretation on Traveller in 2015.
